Did you know, gold bars are coming back into fashion? I don't mean as an accessory. I don't think we'll be living in a world where Paris Hilton finishes off an outfit with a bar of gold like she used to with a silly dog. I don't doubt that she would do something as silly in fashion terms, I just don't think she'd be able to lift one.

I mean buying gold is back in fashion in the finance world. People are realising that something that is solid and real is far safer then a value on a computer screen. If you have shares in a company and something goes wrong, they make a bad decision or they have problems with trade, the value of your investment goes down. All that really happens is that a computer somewhere changes the value that is stored on it and you have less wealth.
